I was a little down on the last episode for being a bit formulaic and a bit to reminiscent of Air Part 3.  In hindsight, i guess it was an alright standalone episode.  Maybe my expectations were a bit too high, but I love Stargate and always am wanting more and better episodes.  I really wasn't quite as down on the episode as it might have seemed, but i want more from this show.  I don't think that's too much to ask.  I also have to say, with a name like Earth, I'm a little scared of what this episode has to offer me.

     So we left off last week in a seemingly dire situation, right?  The destiny is headed straight for the center of a star with no way to slow it down or change it's course.  Sounds terrible.  Everyone's going to die?  Hardly.  I hope this episode can do something to change my feeling on the fact that there is no way the destiny will drive itself into a star and burn up.  

     We've finally arrived. This is the third and final part of the opening story arc for Stargate Universe. Quick recap: Our group of travelers survived the attack on Icarus base by escaping through the stargate using the unknown ninth chevron and arrived on the Ancient ship Destiny only to find out that they were running out of air. Now our team is heading to an alien planet in search of Lime to fix the CO₂ scrubbers with.
